SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All orders shipped in South Africa have a very variable rate due to fluctuating fuel prices and other factors, and our courier/shipping costs are based on the finished weight of your products purchased. Our delivery times will vary depending on stock availability and manufacturing lead times. Our products are made to order, and will usually take 4-5 weeks to receive (sometimes sooner). While this may seem a long time, the wait will be worth it.
We can ship Internationally. All shipping and handling costs will be quoted for separately.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
When you register or place an order with us, we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number. We will only use your telephone number if we need to contact you if there is a problem with your order or to organise delivery. All this is necessary to process your request or order and will not be given out to any 3rd parties. If for any reason, you are unsure about the personal and account information we are holding in your name, please contact our customer service team. They will happily review your file and update the records if required. You can contact our customer service team by email.
RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS
On a more serious note, we do want you to be aware of our return and refund policy, please read this.
We do pride ourselves in adhering to the Consumer Protection Act 2008 (“the CPA”).
We will refund or replace any product that has been found to have a manufacturing defect within 30 days of receipt.
The general consumer does not automatically have a legal right to return. Please remember we do not refund for buyer’s remorse or change of heart.
The provision of goods and services by Karoo Creations is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Karoo Creations will refund the client in full within 30 days of payment date. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 30% administration fee.
In terms of S20 of the CPA, if you as the consumer has not had the opportunity to examine or inspect the actual goods received before purchase, you are entitled to inspect the goods on delivery. If on this initial inspection you find that:
- the goods do not meet the ‘type’ or ‘quality’ you could reasonably expect from the sale; or
- if the goods were made in terms of a special or ‘custom’ order, and the goods do not reasonably conform to the specifications of the order,
- you can return the unused product within 7 days and can receive a full refund within 30 days. You as the consumer will need to pay for the shipping costs for the return.
For health reasons and the nature of our product, used products may not be returned.
Please read the manufacturer’s label on the product and on this website (can be found under the “FAQ’s about Wool”). If you are uncertain of how to care or as to any products to be used to clean the goods, please contact us immediately.
If you do not notify us within 48 hours, you will be deemed satisfied with the goods.
