Wool is becoming the new standard in luxury bedding, because its natural properties far surpass that of Down and Feathers. Our wool filling does not have to be sterilised to make it hypoallergenic. It will not break down into fine powder over time, causing respiratory ailments. It is also not imported from Hungary, Poland or China as a by-product of goose and duck meat industry, and sold at a massive premium. Our wool filling is sourced from RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) farms in the Karoo, washed in Paarl and sent to us in Richmond – proudly South African and hyper-local with a very small carbon footprint.
