Detailed description of goods and/or services
Karoo Creations is a business in the e-commerce/online retail industry that sells (but is not limited to) pure wool, pure cotton and Alpaca-fleece sleep and bedding products.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update and/or change any pricing and discounts etc. on our website without any prior notification

Pricing is always current on our website and will take precedence over any social media posts or email campaigns.

Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of full payment including shipping/courier costs, requests will be processed within four to six weeks and delivery confirmed by  courier with courier charges calculated at checkout, based on the weight of the parcel being transported.  Delivery charges are based on the actual finished weight of the product(s) purchased as quoted by our nominated courier company, as amended from time to time.

Lead times for delivery are  4-6 weeks, however there may be circumstances beyond the our control including but not limited to; war, riot, strike, labor unrest, famine, loss of fabric or raw materials through closure, high-jackings or late delivery of suppliers, acts of God et cetera upon which you will be notified of suitable alternate arrangements.

Return and Refunds policy

We do pride ourselves in adhering to the Consumer Protection Act 2008 (“the CPA”).

We will refund or replace any product that has been found to have a manufacturing defect within 30 days of receipt.

The general consumer does not automatically have a legal right to return. Please remember we do not refund for buyer’s remorse or change of heart.

The provision of goods and services by Karoo Creations is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Karoo Creations will refund the client in full within 30 days of payment date. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 30% administration fee.

In terms of S20 of the CPA, if you as the consumer has not had the opportunity to examine or inspect the actual goods received before purchase, you are entitled to inspect the goods on delivery. If on this initial inspection you find that:

  • the goods do not meet the ‘type’ or ‘quality’ you could reasonably expect from the sale; or
  • if the goods were made in terms of a special or ‘custom’ order, and the goods do not reasonably conform to the specifications of the order,


  • you can return the unused product within 7 days and can receive a full refund within 30 days. You as the consumer will need to pay for the shipping costs for the return.

For health reasons and the nature of our product, used products may not be returned. 

Please read the manufacturer’s label on the product and on this website (can be found under the “FAQ’s about Wool”). If you are uncertain of how to care or as to any products to be used to clean the goods, please contact us immediately.

If you do not notify us within 48 hours, you will be deemed satisfied with the goods.

Customer Privacy policy 
Karoo Creations shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via bank transfer into the nominated bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.  Alternatively, customers are able to pay via debit/credit card via our nominated card payment processing provider.

Card transactions
Card transactions are currently available to our online shoppers via Yoco.  

Transaction Currency 
Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Karoo Creations takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support and dispute resolution.

You specifically acknowledge that the COMPANY shall not be liable for viruses (whether introduced by us or a third party) or by third party websites with content which may be defamatory, offensive, or illegal and that the risk of harm or damage from the foregoing rests entirely with you.

Accordingly the COMPANY shall not be liable under any circumstances for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for profit or loss or otherwise), costs, claims, expenses, royalties, usage rights et cetera related to the use of the website or goods, whether caused by the acts, omissions or the negligence of the COMPANY, its employees, agents or service providers.

The COMPANY does not accept any liability for any loss of materials or theft or misappropriation occasioned on delivery of the goods or by use of this website.

The Company will not be liable for any costs of data when down loading the website or using the website and these costs will all be for your account.

Our products are guaranteed for  60 days. Please note that we cannot honour the guarantee if you or the user of the goods have been negligent or intentionally destroyed the goods. For example, we will not honour a guarantee if a person has negligently or intentionally damaged a product, has not reasonably used the goods, i.e. washing products mechanically or dry cleaning, fire, ink, coffee or wine spills, pets et cetera. In most cases, common sense must prevail when using the goods and the Company’s representative will assess (acting reasonably) whether there is fair wear and tear, destruction et cetera.

User comments, reviews, feedback & other submissions:
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries or reviews on products) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content from our social media channels that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms and conditions.

You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Karoo Creations chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature: 65 Loop Street, Richmond, Northern Cape, 7090.

Karoo Creations may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Discount codes
Discount codes and vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offers.
