Wool is nature’s miracle fibre, having been used for centuries before the introduction of plastic in the early part of the 20th century that has been catastrophic for the planet. Not only is it hypoallergenic, it also perfectly regulates your body temperature to keep you in the Goldilocks zone for deeper, longer sleep. Unlike down or feathers, wool does not insulate, so throwing off the duvet from overheating will be a thing of the past.

Wool is becoming the new standard in luxury bedding, because its natural properties far surpass that of Down and Feathers. Our wool filling does not have to be sterilised to make it hypoallergenic. It will not break down into fine powder over time, causing respiratory ailments. It is also not imported from Hungary, Poland or China as a by-product of goose and duck meat industry, and sold at a massive premium. Our wool filling is sourced from a RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) farm in the Namaqualand, washed in Paarl and sent to us in Richmond – proudly South African and hyper-local with a very small carbon footprint.
