The amazing provenance of our wool
From the beautiful Namaqualand in the Northern Cape, our 100% Merino wool is shorn yearly from sheep looked after by farmers who subscribe to the highest standard of animal husbandry. From there, it takes a short trip to Paarl, where it is washed using eco-friendly and water-wise processes, and then sent to us here in Richmond.Â
Our fully sustainable wool thus has a very small carbon footprint only travelling in two of South Africa’s provinces, compared to thousands of kilometres for imported plastic duvets. Â
